Getting a Clear View of Your SSI/SSDI Benefits

In recent years, there has been an increased national emphasis on the employment of persons with disabilities. Access to services is essential to promoting successful employment. The Social Security Administration's response to this has been to establish community based benefits planning and assistance projects to better enable SSA's beneficiaries with disabilities to make informed choices about work.

If you receive disability benefits from the Social Security Administration, and are interested in working or learning more about work incentives and your benefits, you can get help from a community organization known as a Work Incentive Planning and Assistance (WIPA) project.
